Conductor:
- Solid, annealed, bare copper conductors of 0.4, 0.5, 0.64, 0.9mm
Rip Cord:
- A ripcord is laid within the moisture barrier.
Insulation:
Sheath:
- Cables are sheathed with black polyethylene jacket.
Cable Formation:
- Two insulated conductors designated as a-wire and b-wire, are twisted together to form a pair. Every 5 pairs or 10 pairs, are formed as a sub-unit, 4 or 2 sub-units form a 20 pairs unit. Units and sub-units are separated by different color tapes.
- The cable structure is completed by the application of a suitable core wrapping material, a shield and a parallel integral support messenger, which with the core, are covered by an overall polyethylene jacket.
Applications:
- For outdoor, overhead installations.
Construction:
Core Wrapping:
- The interstices of the cable core are fully filled with special, premium quality water resistant compound to block water ingress. Each core is wrapped with a non-hygroscopic tape.
